Doordash will never succeed in the long run

As I sit here thinking of what to write today, I decided to write an open letter to Doordash. You know, the company that we Dashers deliver food for. I'm thinking about all the pros and cons of the company and how the cons easily outweigh the pros. Here goes.

My letter do Doordash and how they will never succeed in the long run

Oh Doordash Doordash. You are a company that has been set up for success. In your earlier years, you were receiving funding left and right. But, time and time again you seem to fail us Dashers. When we have a problem, many times you are not there for us. Sure, every company will encounter problems, but in order to succeed, those problems must be dealt with. It's never wise to ignore problems that are being addressed to you because in the long run it is guaranteed to bite you in the ass.

Children will often ignore problems and make stupid decisions. It's all part of growing up. But as adulthood approaches, most will have started to make better decisions and will have also have learned that by ignoring problems they will just create new problems. They'll eventually be mature enough to know that by resolving an initial problem, there is a low risk of new problems arising from that initial problem.

I compare this child to you Doordash. You are still  in the learning phase. Throughout the years, as you have been growing, you've been caught stealing, lying and manipulating your Dashers. To make matters worse, just like a child, you always seem to make excuses for your wrong-doings. Instead of just manning up, learning from and taking responsibility for your mistakes, you always seem to take the childish approach. It's time to grow up Doordash!

We all know that Doordash is a failing company that is still trying to figure out how to make money. We know all the financial loses that the company endures. Eventually, you as a company need to find a solution on how to be a financially successful operation. It won't be easy. The food delivery business set-up is a terrible operation with a lot to still be figured out. Anyone that has played with the numbers knows what I'm talking about. But, nobody understands that more than you Doordash!

Again, you and you alone Doordash will have to figure out how to make money. I don't have the answer for you, but I can tell you what not to do. Do not steal any more money from your Dashers. What am I talking about? Surely, you know what I'm talking about. I'm sure that you remember just like some of old-time Dashers do. I believe it was around the years 2016, 2017 or 2018; most likely all of them. Remember when you used to have Doordash customers believing that their full tip amount went to us Dashers. Remember the "Over Guaranteed" pay you fooled us with. How about the"Pay Boost" crap?

Time and time again you tried to fool us all with your slick manipulating lingo. Remember, none of your schemes have ever worked for the long-haul. Telling lies will only go so far. It will always come to an end and be exposed. It's time to make a change Doordash. You are reaching an age where you should start making better decisions. Stop the immaturity and grow up! Stop stealing, lying and trying to manipulate. Because of your crooked ways, you have had to pay hefty fees. How often are you being sued? The amount of lawsuits against you have been ridiculousness Sure, all large companies get sued, but with you Doordash it is just insane. Keep doing your Dashers wrong, and you are just going to have to pay more and more.

I really don't know how your future looks. As the years go by I have lost more and more confidence in you. Every time you have been forgiven you seem to make a sincere plea and are trusted again. But you are approaching an area now where people are saying that enough is enough. If you don't handle your business well, somebody else will. Ever heard of Uber Eats? Yeah, their always watching you and as they see you making mistake after mistake. All that does is entice them more to take over the food delivery operation. If you don't start paying a bit more attention to what you're doing, your doomsday will eventually come. Please take all of this with a grain of salt.

Note: This letter was not actually sent to Doordash. Just my thoughts about the company shared here for my readers.
