The people that I will be focusing on in this article is college students. These people have a unique opportunity that many of us didn't have when we were younger. Sure, in the past many of us took on a part-time job while attending college. We needed that perfect part-time job schedule. It may have been at the local mall, the grocery store, etc. When getting that job, we had to make sure that our work hours were perfectly set around our school hours.

If your school schedule changes, or you go on vacation from school, you can simply adjust your work hours. No need to ask your boss if your hours can be changed because you are your own boss. There has never been flexibility like you see today with many of these gig jobs.

The second reason why Doordash is the perfect job for a college student is the money that can be made. You can make some serious cash dashing. Many full-time Dashers earn 6K to 8K per month. Of course college students won't earn that much due to the amount of hours they are able to work, but part-time Dashers also make great money. Unless a college student has a serious hookup for a super great part-job while going to college, it's doubtful that they can get a job making more money than they will with Doordash.

A big problem a lot of people have with college is the amount of debt that students are left with once they are done with school. Sure, they should be able to easily pay off that college debt with the great job that they eventually land due to their college education right? For some people yes, but for others things just don't work out the way they planned, and they'll find themselves struggling with college debt.

I'm not here to say that Doordash will solve all college debt problems, but it's certainly possible for a college student to earn enough money with Doordash to pay all of their school expenses. If not all, it can certainly put a big dent in college expenses.

For private colleges the average tuition is $15,526. Sure, there are much more expensive colleges, and if you have the sources to attend those expenses colleges more power to you.

My point here is that a part-time Dasher can easily pay all of their college expenses or at least not have to worry about finishing college with a ton of debt. If there was money owed, at least it wouldn't be as much as it could have been. The amount of college debt that is owed will of course depend on an individuals money management skills.

How can a college student become a Doordash driver if they don't have a car?

There is no need to own a car to become a Dasher. There are companies that make renting cars available to those interested in driving for Doordash or any other gig. The rates that they offer are terrific as they know that these vehicles will be rented by gig drivers.

They know the rates have to be low enough to make it worthwhile for Doordash drivers. They know that gig drivers are in this to make money, and they will certainly make this possible. They want gig drivers to keep coming back, so they are certainly going to make the Doordash driver's experience pleasurable.
