Whenever a person is thinking about making deliveries for Doordash, the obvious and expected question is how much does a Doordash driver make? I recently came across an individual that phrased this question to me is a weekly sense. She asked me how much does a Doordash driver earn per week because she needed to make at least $700 per week.
Weekly Doordash earnings will vary by region
Although most people would like a straight up answer, it is impossible to do so. Weekly Doordash driver earnings will vary greatly depending on the location that the Dasher is working. There are major markets such as New York City and Los Angeles, but there are also small markets that operate in small rural towns too. Then you have all the markets in between. Obviously there will be more deliveries for Dashers to make in major markets and that would mean more earnings for them.
$100 per day Doordash earnings should be easy in most markets
For the girl that asked me if she could make $700 per week, the answer to her would definitely be yes. Even in smaller markets, this milestone should not be difficult at all. Sure, the $100 for the day may take a bit longer in smaller markets than it would in major markets, but $100 per day should not ever be a problem.
Some Dashers can earn $2000 or more per week
There are some Dashers out there that earn $2000 or more per week. These Dashers are hustlers and are out on the road for 12 hours per day, but the end result is money in their pockets. Most Dashers don't earn $2000 per week. It's more common for full time Dashers to earn $1000 to $1500 per week.
Earning $1000 to $1500 per week with Doordash is easily attainable for a full time dasher. To earn $1000 per week, this just comes out to $200 per day if you are spreading it across five days. Spreading it across 7 days and all you would have to earn is about $143 per day. This can easily be done by anyone.
Earning $100 per day part time as a Doordash Driver
Demands in life change all the time, and I remember a time in my life when my only time to Dash was the evening for five days per week. I had three to four hours each day to dash, and my goal was to hit $100 per day / $500 per week dashing.
Some days I would make great money and earn over $100 for four hours of dashing while other days I would come up short and only make $75 or $80. Overall, I would always end up with about $500 per week. I must say that the market I was working in at this time was a small
market. A city with a population of 100,000 people and other nearby
cities almost 50 miles away. This is why I say that it would almost be impossible to not make $700 per week as a full time dasher.
