As we are now on August 3rd of 2022, I am a bit disappointed with a Doordash glitch that is preventing me from logging on to Doordash whenever I want. As most know, when you are a Top Rated Dasher, you can log on to Doordash and work whenever you want. There is no scheduling needed. This is the major benefit of being a Top Rated Dasher.
Top Rated Dashers have not been given the status this month
The other day, when I opened up my Doordash app to start dashing, I could not log on. Instead, on the bottom-center of the screen I seen the red button saying schedule. What the heck is this? I'm used of dashing whenever I want.
At first, I thought I was the only one with this problem. Could I have not met one of the qualifications? I know that I did, but I had to go look at my ratings anyways and double check. By the way, I always screenshot my ratings on the last day of the month right before the day ends. Well, I checked, and just like I knew, I should have qualified for the Top Rated Dasher status for August of 2022.
It's a glitch - A lot of Top Rated Dashers were not rewarded
While on my Facebook, I seen multiple posts from Doordash drivers stating that they were not given the Top Rated Dasher status for August even though they should have qualified. Okay, this let me know that I was not alone here. So, I knew it wasn't on my end. It was a Doordash glitch.
Calling up Doordash and asking why I am not a Top Rated Dasher
I called up Doordash and the rep told me that they would have to transfer me to a specialist. After about 20 minutes on hold, the same rep came back on the line and told me that unfortunately the specialist were out for the day. Okay! There was nothing they could do so all I can do is wait and hope this problem gets fixed ASAP. It looks like I will not be getting that many hours this week dashing. I'll look at the bright side and look at it as a short vacation.
I am experiencing the same issue. I cannot get any assistance correcting my account.
ReplyDeleteI called again a couple of days ago, August 10th. The Doordash rep told me that my customer rating was below the required 4.70. They said it was 4.59 which is wrong as my customer rating has not been under 4.90 for over a year. The rep also said that I only completed 30 dashes in July. That too was not valid information as I had nearly 150 (easy to check by looking at my payments.) I called back a few hours later thinking I might get someone more sensible. they connected me to a specialist. She said that I indeed did have well over 100 dashes in July. But, she held on to my customer rating being 4.59. I explained everything to her, but she acted like there was nothing that she could do. I ended up hanging up with nothing resolved.
DeleteLooks like we got screwed over by Doordash! It was a glitch, but they will defend themselves by saying that your stats were under the requirements even though they were not. Really, what can we do? It's a he said she said situation. Personally, I won't be Dashing much in August. Don't want to worry about getting schedules. And, I'm seeing how extremely difficult it is to even get schedules. Terrible.
I am a supporter of being a Top Rated Dasher, and it's mainly to be able to dash whenever desired. With it being tough to get schedules, it has reminded me how important being a Top Rated Dasher is. Again, many of us got screwed over by Doordash. I personally have to look at it like a vacation to catch up with more important things in my life.
