As a top rated dasher, I never worry about getting schedules. I usually hold this status on a continuous monthly basis and have for a good while now. But, recently someone I know, who like me continually keeps top rated status, lost their top rated dasher badge. They had to start getting schedules, and boy were they surprised how things have changed.
Doordash schedules are difficult to get
As most know, the regular Doordash scheduling comes out at midnight six days in advance. If a Dasher qualifies for early access they will be able to get a schedule at 3pm five days in advance. Well, unfortunately for my friend, she do not qualify for the early access as their completion rate feel to under 95 percent. So, she has been trying to get a schedule each day at midnight.
No midnight Doordash schedules are available
When trying to get a schedule for her region, there is absolutely nothing available. I don't mean that there are some schedules, and you'll have to be quick and get one. No! There is nothing available at all. When I was showed this, I couldn't believe it.
Doordash early access Dashers are getting all the schedules
My conclusion to all of this is that Dashers will early access scheduling are getting all of the schedules. When regular Dashers try to get a schedule at midnight, there is nothing left for them to get. Seems the only way for them to dash is to monitor the app and use the "Dash now" option when something becomes available.
Getting Doordash early access scheduling is a must
To get a schedule of one's liking, it seems that gaining access to early access scheduling is a must. There may still be a battle to get the schedule that you want, but you will have a shot. Getting early access is not really that difficult. If you want to know what the qualifications are for early access, you can find out here.
One final thought I want to include here is that a Dasher's location will come in to play. Obviously if a Dasher's location is over-saturated with Dashers there won't be any schedules available. I do believe that most locations fall in to this category. But, there may still be some where scheduling is not a problem.
